Rock Ridge tosses shoes to Hub Lakes title Ending a dry spell of nearly 20 years, Rock Ridge's captain Mike Brezinski rolled the dice all night, pairing up two-man teams against the three-time Hub Lakes champions from Indan Lake who were led by Tom Colucci. In a race to seven format (best out of 13 games), Rock Ridge overcame a 5 to 3 deficit by winning the last four games to post a 7 to 5 victory over the always tough "Ching Wha's" and claim the 2001 Hub Lakes League men's horseshoes title. Rock Ridge put together a great team effort by Brezinski, Hank Ruppel, Beecher Thomas, Dave Hansen, Andy Kenny, Carl Bonaccolta and the Rock Ridge M.V.P. Paul Pieper with great support from Skinny, Little Man and Bear. Congratulations Rock Ridge!
