Alexis Gardner of Rainbow Lake repeated as the Hub Lakes Women's Golf champion,
carding an 18-hole round of 74 over the Lakeview and Clubview nines at Farmstead. Mountain Lakes and White Meadow
Lake shared the team title. Doris Barrich claimed closest to the pin honors on the ninth hole of the Lakeview course when she left her drive 11 feet, 8 inches from the pin. On the Clubview course, Rainbow's Dotty Smith picked up the closest to the pin prize when her drive stooped 4 feet, 8 inches from the cup. |

LoCastro powers Rock Ridge to Hub Lakes links crown |
| Mike LoCastro turned in an impressive performance as he sparked Rock Ridge
to the team title in the Hub Lakes Men's Golf championship at Farmstead on Sunday. LoCastro captured low individual
honors when he toured the 18 holes in 71 shots. Lake Arrowhead, the defending champion, finished eighth among the
nine teams. Pat Mulcahy of third place Indian Lake, was a close runnerup for the individual crown, posting a card of 72 to finish one stroke off the pace. Lake Parsippany's Glen Shortino claimed closest to the pin honors on the ninth hole when he left his drive 2 feet, 4 inches from the pin. Chris Dunham of Rock Ridge claimed the longest drive prize when he blasted the ball past the 300 yard stake on the 17th hole. |
