2003 Rock Ridge Women's Golf Results

Rock Ridge finished sixth in the 2003 Hub Lakes Women's Golf Tournament contested over the Lake and Club courses at Farmstead. The foursome of Doris Barick, Lois Chiappa, Maxine Howarth and Marilyn Terhune combined for a score of 535 with Barrick carding the low 18-hole round of 106.

Rock Ridge 264 - White Meadow 276 - Parsippany/Rainbow 181

Rock Ridge Lake came close to a major upset in the season-opening tri-swim meet last Monday when the Williams sisters led the attack. Perennial power White Meadow Lake edged Rock Ridge 276-264 with the combined Parsippany/Rainbow team finishing third with 181 points in the competition contested at Rock Ridge Lake. Chelsea, Lauren and Michelle Williams teamed up to accumulate 50 team points in individual events to power the Rock Ridge effort. Michelle Williams tripled in the 8 & under girls competition, touching the finish wall first in the backstroke, butterfly and freestyle races. Lauren Williams chipped in with a pair of first places and a runnerup effort in the 13-14 girls age division while Chelsea added two second place and a third place finish. Brian Anderson, Scott DiCola, Peter Grabowski, Nicole Harris, Garrett Pullis and Brandon Weinman chipped in with first place performances for Rock Ridge. 12 & Under Boys 100-Meter Individual Medley: 1. Rock Ridge's runnerup finish was keyed by the Williams' sisters who collected five place finishes between them. Michelle Williams won the backstroke and breaststroke competitions among the eight & under girls while Chelsea Williams was fastest to the finish wall in the 9-10 girls breaststroke. Lauren Williams turned in first place performances in the 13-14 girls backstroke and freestyle events.
